Rockwood Swendeman manufactures Safety Relief and Three-way Diverter Valves for the industrial gas industry. Our facility is ASME and TUV accredited. We manufacture our valves to the specifications of the globally accepted ASME and Merkblatt codes. Each valve is set, tested, retested, and sealed at the factory to the customer's specifications. Our safety relief valves have set pressures up to 400 psig (27.5 BAR) and are used with temperatures ranging from -423 to +400 Farenheit.

Popular   Rockwood Swendeman's most popular valve, the RXSO, is the valve purchased for cryogenic safety and pressure relief use. It has a Teflon seat and is specified by many of our industrial gas customers to their pressure vessel manufacturers.   Rockwood Swendeman's CryoTree® sub-assemblies are manufactured for use on stationary cryogenic storage tanks to isolate safety relief valves and rupture discs in the event they need to be serviced. Utilizing this system eliminates the need to shut down and evacuate the tank for service. Rockwood Swendeman's CryoTree® assembly includes high capacity safety relief valves, full flow diverting valve, rupture discs, bleed valves, and related piping assembled, oxygen cleaned in conformance to CGA G-4.1, hydrostatically tested as a complete unit to assure leak tightness. This modular assembly provides for just a single connection to the internal tank piping.   Rockwood Swendeman RDV Diverter valves have the highest flow in the industry. They are designed and manufactured with a commitment to quality and service with over 50 years of experience in the cryogenic and gas industry. Engineered for maximum safety and reliability, Rockwood Swendeman diverter valves are suitable for use on dual safety relief systems, stationary tanks, distribution systems, and process systems where manifolding, diverting, or blending is a requirement for specialized applications. Our valves also meet the following specifications: Compressed Gas Association S-1.2 and S-1.3. V-4301 (Cryogenic Non-Oxygen Gas) V-4401 (Oxygen) ASME sec. VIII API 527 AD-Merkblatt A2 BSP threads are available on most sizes. Test Reports and Certificates of Compliance are available upon request. We clean and package ALL our valves for use in oxygen service in compliance with the Compressed Gas Associations specification G-4.1.
