Air Liquide America, Houston, Texas, has standardized on the Rockwood Swendeman CryoTree® assembly as part of their ongoing cost reduction programs to serve their customers more effectively. Air Liquide has stated that although the total cost of the Rockwood Swendeman CryoTree® parallels their internal fabricated design used in the past, their fabrication time can now be spent in other areas. Originally five to six separate purchase orders were issued for individual components. It now requires only one. This modular design provides only two part numbers for their complete tank inventory providing standardization on a global basis.
